And it was then that we laid the foundation for the engineering expertise that has since helped us develop some of the world’s best products in areas such as hunting weapons, bicycles, motorcycles, kitchen appliances, sewing machines and now outdoor products.
Being one of the oldest weapon workshops, Husqvarna is one of the oldest precision industries in the world. The production of thousands of muskets for warfare lead the way to a more peaceful development of world-famous sporting rifles.
We started building engines and motorbikes in the early 1900s and were racing before 1940. During the 60's and 70's, the Husqvarnas were synonymous with Motocross World Championships.
